The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest-growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.

Approximately one-third of adults aged 65 years or older fall in their homes each year, resulting in injury, long-term disability, and premature loss of independence. By the year 2030, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates the cost related to these kinds of injuries to be nearly $100 Billion annually.
